Are you thinking about buying Comcast cable packages but having second thoughts about satellite tv? Those who feel that Satellite is the only way to get the programming the want and need are replacing Cable TV. The thing is though, is Satellite TV really better then cable? To start with, with cable, you are entitled to receive a certain selection of your free local channels. Such popular satellite companies such as Direct TV and Dish Network require their customers to pay an additional $5.99 per month if they would like to see their favorite local channels. That is of course, if they have your local channels available for you in your market.
Comcast cable TV service now offers Internet and phone as well which means for one combined monthly bill you can receive all three services. There are many deal packages out there that allow customers to pick up all three services for a discount. It is also extremely convenient that three services will be billed on one statement. You will have just one due date instead of three. At this point in time, Satellite is just not able to offer such services so by going with a Satellite provider, you will miss out on a lot of convenience.
With Cable TV you will also receive a worry free installation. Unlike going with a Satellite service, there is no need to worry about obstructions for service. Such obstructions would be buildings, utility poles, and trees or just about anything else that is in the way. Because cable providers use wires they are able to get service to just about anywhere. And even though dishes are now much smaller then they started out to be, with cable there is nothing that needs to be bolted onto your roof or the side of your house which some consider unsightly.
